Chad Hilweh, Owner and General Contractor, has over 15+ years of experience in the construction industry and has lived in Oahu for over 34 years. He has managed and self-performed various construction and design build projects including remodeling and ground-up development of residential homes and commercial buildings. 

 

Credentials: Lead Certified, Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, Licensed, Bonded, and Insured.

Liana is a Certified Public Accountant and has been involved in accounting and tax industry since 2007. She developed skills working as a Tax Manager at Moss Adams LLP in Washington State. She also has served as a Corporate Controller for a large construction company and was the Managing Director at Hawaii Accounting LLC for over 5 years.

 

At Hilweh Builders, Liana helps drive customer success by ensuring projects stay on budget – bringing confidence to customers knowing that communication and accurate figures are at top of our priority list.

 

Liana is also an integral part of our strategic planning, operations, website, social media and marketing.

Tamatea "Tama", born and raised between Tahiti and Moorea, now calls Oʻahu home. As a skilled carpenter with Hilweh Builders, he plays a vital role in bringing projects to life from setup and demo to construction, final touches, and overall flawless execution of our remodeling and construction projects. Tamatea ensures every task is completed with precision, quality, and professionalism - all values that align seamlessly with Hilweh Builders’ ALOHA Values. Clients can expect to see his friendly face on their job sites, helping make their visions a reality.

 

Beyond his carpentry work, Tamatea channels his passion for design through his business, Tepa Visual, where he offers 3D modeling and rendering services. His love for both building and art shines in every photorealistic visualization he creates, helping clients bring their ideas to life.

 

When he’s not working, Tamatea enjoys surfing, spending time at the beach with his wife, or celebrating Polynesian culture through activities like weaving, fire knife dancing, and coconut tree climbing.

Noah Galarza brings extensive hands-on construction experience to our team, having progressed from laborer to foreman with a respected general contractor. Over the years, he has developed expertise in carpentry, project management, and quality control, particularly in building decks, siding, and structural installations. Noah’s commitment to craftsmanship and safety ensures that every project is completed with precision and excellence.

 

Beyond his work in construction, Noah has a strong passion for community involvement and volunteering. His background includes coordinating volunteer events, mentoring students, and fostering connections that make a meaningful impact. In his free time, Noah enjoys woodworking, where he continues to showcase his creative skills, and cooking, where he brings people together with his culinary talents. His dedication to both his craft and his community reflects the values we uphold as a team.

With over five years of experience in residential remodeling, Tim is a skilled carpenter known for his craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail. Before joining Hilweh Builders, he managed and built numerous kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring installations, and full home renovations from start to finish.

 

At Hilweh Builders, Tim plays an important role across a wide range of projects — from framing and carpentry to detailed kitchen and bathroom work. His strong work ethic, clear communication, and commitment to doing things right make him a trusted part of the team and a valued presence on every jobsite.

 

Fun Fact: Tim owns and restores a classic 1960s Volkswagen Beetle — a testament to his patience and passion for bringing timeless craftsmanship back to life.

Graham brings a genuine passion for construction and a strong commitment to mastering his craft. With a degree in Construction Management and hands-on experience in residential remodeling and carpentry, he has developed a solid foundation in both the technical and practical sides of building.

 

After relocating to Oahu with his military spouse, he is excited to help homeowners improve their spaces and build long-lasting structures across the island.

 

Known for his positive attitude and willingness to learn, Graham enjoys being part of a team where he can continue sharpening his skills — from framing and deck building to the fine details of finish carpentry. He takes pride in doing quality work and looks forward to growing with Hilweh Builders while contributing to the community he now calls home.

 

Fun Fact: Graham also holds two social work degrees, giving him a unique perspective on communication, empathy, and supporting people through meaningful transitions — skills that serve him well in home renovation.

Tiger joins Hilweh Builders with a genuine curiosity to learn and grow in the construction field. He supports our crew by assisting with daily tasks that keep projects running smoothly and efficiently, from preparing materials to maintaining clean, organized job sites. As he integrates with the team, Tiger brings a positive attitude and eagerness to help wherever he’s needed, making him a valuable part of our workflow.

 

Growing up in Kaneohe, Tiger fits in perfectly with our service areas in Honolulu and the Windward Side. Outside of work, you’ll often find him enjoying his music through the sound system in his truck or spending weekends relaxing at the beach.

Arantza brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective to the Hilweh Builders team. As a Communications major at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, she combines her background in leadership, tutoring, and event coordination with a passion for storytelling and visual design.

 

At Hilweh Builders, Arantza helps shape our brand voice through photography, video, and social media content that highlights our projects, people, and community connections. Her eye for detail, organization, and authentic approach to communication help bring the Hilweh Builders story to life across all platforms.
